The Polite Goofball

Curlpaw is a very lovable little tom. He's incredibly friendly, very trusting, and always speaks kind words with a warm voice. At first glance, you'd think this tiny woolly-furred fluffball could do no harm.

He likes to make jokes, and his favorite kind are the sarcastic ones. Unfortunately, this makes him seem kind of mean-spirited sometimes. He doesn't mean anything by it, though - he just doesn't really understand how to joke, and those end up being his version of them.

Curlpaw tends to raise his voice without noticing. He could be talking in a completely normal conversation about hunting tactics and suddenly he's bouncing all over the place trying to demonstrate his technique, all the while shouting "DIE MOUSE DIE". He constantly has to be told to quiet down, but the commands seem to slip in one ear and out the other.

He loves helping out around camp. Any task he's set, he can easily take care of, and he enjoys it! Whether it be changed out bedding, or taking ticks off the elders - give him any job and he'll finish it with gusto.

Curlpaw is very cuddly and incredibly emotional. He gets choked up easily, but a good snuggle can always calm him down. He loves his cuddles, especially from big cats with thick, soft fur.

​

When he wants to, Curlpaw can command a crowd with just his voice and two tails. Although he may not look it, he can be very dominant and orderly when he wants to be. And although he may be ignorant of most topics, he isn't an idiot. He knows how to apply classic common sense to any situation and make smart snap decisions based on that sense, making him a natural leader.

Curlpaw has very conservative ideas. He doesn't try to force his thoughts and always treats others with the same respect he wants to be treated with, but he would rather things stay exactly the same as they always have been. He has very traditional values and doesn't foresee changing them any time soon.

​

He is very peace-oriented when it comes to his own family and Clan and will try to break up any inner fighting, but when dealing with rival groups or violent predators, he won't hesitate to charge right into the heat of battle.

• Loves mossball and tag, and probably will well into his older years

• Obsessed with good smells; constantly trying to make himself smell like a certain plant/scent; thinks smells cheer others up and if he catches someone who looks upset he will bring them over to his favorite flower of the day and see if they get any happier, even if by just a little

• Very determined, doesn't easily give up

• Very easily impressed; someone could bring him a teeny-tiny flower and he'd be all "OHMYGOSH THIS IS WONDERFUL YOU ARE WONDERFUL YOU ARE THE BEST IN THE WORLD"

• Places a heavy focus on good manners

• Has a deep fear of not being acknowledged for doing great things and is always trying to impress those around him; constantly screws it up by doing something stupid which only leads to him being even more desperate
